Logitech MX Mind Gallery

An innovative interactive experience that blends the worlds of neuroscience, and digital art, commissioned by Logitech

Participants are given an EEG headset, a cutting-edge device designed to read brainwave activity.

Participants interacted with the installation using Logitech hardware, during which their brain activity was recorded via EEG. The system was designed to capture moments where participants entered a state of flow—a focused, immersive mental state associated with creativity and engagement.

These brainwave patterns were then used as input for a generative system, translating biometric signals into unique 3D visual forms. Each artwork was directly derived from the participant’s own cognitive state, creating a deeply personal and data-driven aesthetic outcome.

The core of the MX Mind Gallery lies in its ability to transform invisible electrical brain activity into a mesmerizing 3D visual form.

The characteristics of these forms, including their shape, scale, and color intensity, are calibrated to reflect the participant’s neural activity, creating a personalized cognitive landscape.

As part of the experience, participants received a physical takeaway: a printed version of their generated 3D artwork, allowing them to keep a tangible representation of their mental state during the interaction.

Brainwaves from celebrity creatives were 3D printed as physical objects, adding a tactile dimension to the experience.

They also received a link to a branded microsite that contains their EEG data, screenshots of the artworks as well as the animation of their generative graphics.
